🌍🚀 AKBians Explore India’s Space Legacy! 🚀🌍
Commemorating “March Forth and Do Something Day”, around 300 students from various schools participated in a special educational programme organized by the School Education Department in collaboration with the Bharat Scouts and Guides at the Thumba Rocket Launching Station, Thiruvananthapuram on 6 March 2026.
Under the visionary guidance and encouragement of our beloved Chairman, Mr Mohamed Abdul Kasim, Founder & Chairman of AKB School of Excellence, 21 enthusiastic AKBians proudly represented the school, accompanied by Ms. Muthuselvi (Guide) and Mr. Satheesh (Scouts Master & Physical Education Teacher).
The students had an inspiring opportunity to visit the historic Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station, one of India’s most significant space research centres. They explored rocket models, learned about India’s achievements in space science, and gained valuable insights into the world of satellites, rockets, and space technology.
The programme also highlighted the spirit of service, leadership, and global unity celebrated through the Bharat Scouts and Guides movement.
This enriching experience ignited curiosity, encouraged scientific thinking, and motivated our young learners to dream big and aim for the stars. ⭐
